Brockport Yacht
Club is pleased to extend Reciprocal Privileges to Participating Yacht Clubs
and Marinas for the use of the club facilities during the boating season.
A private flashing white light
marks the entrance to the creek, and lighted channel marks are provided by
the club to assist visitors in navigating the channel. Channel
depth is approximately six feet when the lake level is at 245 ft above sea
level.
This information is for informational purposes only. Use of prudence and
good judgment when entering the channel is advised.
During the sailing season, the
club normally monitors channel 16 for calls from visitors and boats in distress. If
in doubt, about navigating the creek to the club, try calling when making an approach.
The club has a
public phone, ice, outdoor grills, kitchen and picnic facilities, shore
power, showers, and a private beach area for swimming. Gasoline
and pump out are for members only, but may be made available in emergency
situations. The closest grocery shopping area is about 3 miles from
the club. Members generally
will assist visitors with special situations.
To make your visit more enjoyable, we have established the following guidelines, which we
request that you follow during your visit.
Tie up along the seawall when arriving. If there is a dock available, a
member will direct you to it. If the dock owner returns, you will be asked to move
to the seawall.
Upon arrival, please sign the Guest Log in the clubhouse.
Except in emergencies, visiting yachts are not to be left unattended overnight.
Pets should be kept on-board.
Lifejackets should be worn at all times by small children when they are on the
docks and finger piers.
Guests are expected to clean up after themselves. BYC has no hired help.
A dumpster is located near the parking
lot gate.
Please limit your stay to three days.
